Author Cora Darrah’s New Book HERE WE GO JOE hits #1 on Amazon In Just Fifteen Hours.
HERE WE GO JOE – How one family created a final home for a father with dementia with love, honor, and dignity hit #1 ON Amazon July 28th in the Alzheimer’s and brief and bereavement categories.
In a recent interview Cora shares with Michael D. Butler how the best seller status has opened some doors for her and how she is now available to speak to groups on the topic. Cora is involved in many local and regional Alzheimer’s and dementia awareness events and is available to speak to groups about how they can be equipped to handle family members with the disease.
“This book is about my Father -in-Law Joe and our journey with his dementia diagnosis. We’ve learned a lot on our journey, not only from our research but first hand in taking care of Joe. This book is our story and can help families who are struggling. About Cora Darrah
Cora has been a special educator for over thirty years and has worked in a variety of settings from kindergarten through higher education. She has a passion for the child with a disability and the innate ability to discover how to best reach their learning potential. She has a master’s degree to work with children with learning disabilities and has earned her National Boards. She has recently retired from working in public schools but continues to tutor and volunteer in a separate setting for children with autism. She is also using her skills to assess children and develop educational plans for children that are homeschooled.
She is a first time author. Here We Go Joe is being published by The Cheerful Word in Hendersonville North Carolina. Cora is planning to publish several more books.
