“The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!” Matthew 6:22-23
A couple of weeks ago, it didn’t appear Spring was going to arrive in North Carolina as it usually does in early March.
So I went in search for Spring in Florida. And I found it.
But I wanted to find Spring in my backyard. So I started looking toward the light. I noticed tiny buds on the tree limbs and little patches of daffodils sprouting up.
Then, in the coldness, colors began to appear and flowers sprung out from all directions.
And I came to realize if we seek God’s goodness, we will be illuminated with the light needed to see the good, even when it can be difficult to locate at times.
