In the beginning, life appeared good. I mean just look at this picture! I’m sure you are assuming I had to be the center of my parents’ world. But that wasn’t exactly true.
When I was born, I didn’t realize I was part of a group of five, with just three and a half years between us—two sets of twins and my brother Robbie right in the middle. I wish there had been a photo capturing my parents behind the scenes, trying to convince us to stay still long enough for this photograph.
From the very beginning, things were downright crazy as I tried to navigate the complexities of life.
Little did I know, how my life would evolve.
Now as I enter the winter of my life, I have to say I’m thankful for the challenges I began with.
